Apparently all I had to do to find a beta, was completely bail on the idea of ever finding a beta. As soon as I did that (and started being more visible on LJ) two people volunteered to beta the fic. On the very same day. 0.o
Anyway, the relevant thing is that the beta who volunteered to really dig in and help with everything? IS AWESOME. The fic has now been fully revamped, and could probably be acceptable if posted as it currently stands. But I am not ready yet! I want to check it over obsessively and tweak it for a few more weeks! Also LJ will be chock full of Christmas fics and fests for the whole month of December.
So, the deal is, I plan to start posting the fic in early January. It is 19 chapters, so expect it to take 19 weeks for the whole fic to go up. I'd probably recommend starting a reread of the three previous parts (available on skyehawe and AO3) in a few days.
Now, I am hoping for a lot of readers. So, do you think I should post only to one place, or to more than one simultaneously? Like LJ and skyehawke? I can also post at the Archive of our own: http://archiveofourown.org/users/twistedmiracle .
