I somehow missed this when it was first posted back in 2009. Thanks to the
hd_prophet I learned about it today, however.
(Just to be clear, the prophet posted about it in August. I am way behind!)
I am so glad the prophet highlighted this fic as an "Older Fic of the Day." It's poignant, well-written, and romantic. I like the way we jump right into the action at the beginning and the way the author swiftly carries us through Harry's life changes, learning and thought process. He's got a lot going on, as it turns out! We learn the backstory of his life right along with him, and then see how he decides to handle it. I cheered for him. :D

Title: Moving Beyond Regret
Word Count: 9900
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Slash, language, illness, misunderstandings. Hard-headed boys. OOC Kingsley.
Summary: What happens when we let others define our relationships for us?
