Two recommendations

First is Chase the Wind by saras-girl.
Summary: Draco is up to something, Harry has no filters, and Hermione knows everything. AU Hogwarts fluff with no excuses.
Pairing: HPDM
Rating: PG13ish
Wordcount: ~10,500
Warnings: fluffy!verse, Gregory Goyle, all the autumn feels

This fic is sweet and cuddly, but also well thought out, well written, and interesting. The surprises are delightful, but there are nonetheless actual surprises. But that "fluffy-verse" warning is a very fair one. Honestly, I thought this fic had something of an Olivia Lupin feel to it, and since I loved all of Olivia Lupin's H/D fic, I loved this one as well. :D

This second fic I want to rec is a great deal longer! The plot really engaged me here. This fic relies very heavily on original characters, but they fit well into the known magical universe and simultaneously act like real people, both of which are refreshing. Harry and Draco struggle with their job but also with each other, and you get to watch. ;)
