OMG! I was thinking the same thing recently. I was reading a fic the other and they used ministrations at least 10 times on one page. Seems to have become almost "fad-ish" because it suddenly seems like that word is popping up everywhere!
Exactly! And sometimes, when I skimming and not really reading a fic, I see it as 'menstruations' and I have to go back and re-read to make sure I'm not seeing things. I am, but still. Lay off the ministrations!
