That word--"freeing"--is very worrying to me. What exactly are we meant to be freed from? I'm not so sure I want to be free from those things.

i expect what my friend meant was she felt freed from expectations of certain unproductive behaviors, like caring how old she is, the "need" to look a certain way, etc. i'm not sure, though, i didn't ask. and no, i don't feel any freer yet, but after all, it's only been three days. ;)
