on a different note, i need a really, really good beta. i don't need a grammar checker, i don't need a look over for inconsistencies, i don't need a brit picker. (though any errors found in any of those areas would be fixed!)
i am eager to find someone who will tell me where the fic needs more description, where it needs more emotion, where it needs more power, and where i am heavy handed and preachy and need to back off. i also need someone who isn't overwhelmed by real life atm and can give my 6200 word fic attention this week or this weekend.
have you done beta work like that before? are you even one of those betas who edits documents for pay in real life? if you are interested, please give me a yell. :)
