anybody have a good recipe for sweet potatoes that calls for canned? i don't want any maple syrup (blech) but things like apples or raisins would be acceptable. mostly, though, i want a few sweet potatoes on the side. just a very simple, yummy side dish. using like... two cans of sweet potatoes. since that's what i already have in my pantry. ;)

i couldn't find decent granny smiths at the supermarket on thanksgiving morning! i was so peeved.

you're right about the maple syrup. it's the taste of that particular food that bothers me, not the sweetness. sweet is good. especially if it is chocolate. ;)
